Nxwezḱúḱḿit Early Childhood Development

Health

The Health Program provides basic primary health care to SSHS members from birth to the Elder years. SSHS, through its partnerships with the First Nations Health Authority and Vancouver Coastal Health, is able to provide a wide range of services to the communities.

Jordan’s Principle

Jordan’s Principle works to ensure that health and wellness services are available to First Nations’ children when they need them, not when funding is available. The principle is that financial jurisdiction should not get in the way of children’s wellbeing.
